Best Time to Trek Kyanjin Ri
The Langtang Valley trek is most enjoyable from March to April and October to November. These months correspond to the autumn and spring seasons, respectively. This time of the year is ideal for trekking as the trails will not be muddy and slippery. The climate will be less volatile, and the temperature will be mild. Also, during these months, you can enjoy spectacular views of clear landscapes under blue skies. However, since this is the busiest trekking season, the trails will be crowded with tourists.
You can trek in winter and during the monsoons. The monsoon season in Nepal, which lasts from June to August (or September), brings a lot of rain. This makes up for the fact that it is a difficult time for trekking as the trails become slippery, increasing the chances of accidents. Likewise, the cold weather that sets in mid-December and early January makes trekking extremely difficult. You will have to carry a lot of luggage, and the weather will be unpredictable. However, trekking in the shoulder seasons is still possible with proper planning and precautions.
